What to know

- Rare cases: Since 2023, there have been a total of just two instances where games were removed from gamers' libraries; both of these removals were accidental and resolved by our customer support team.
What to do if you get a Steam notice
If a Steam key is revoked, you will see a pop-up saying: “A Steam product code has been removed from my account.”
- Visit Steam Support and search for the removed game.
- Select “It’s not in my library” and take a screenshot that shows the date and time.
- Send the screenshot to our Customer Support team so we can help resolve the issue.
